Add the Lambda Layer

Time Estimate: 5 - 10 minutes

In this section you will create the Task Processor Lambda layer.

  1. In the Designer section of the Lambda function click choose Layers, then click Add a layer:

  2. Choose the HelperLayer then v1 and then click Add.

  3. The number of layers for this function has changed from 0 to 1 as you can observe. Click Save as shown below to save your Lambda function.
